Within this broader mission, our Workshops & Classes serve as an extension of the care we provide, offering education, connection, and resources to help individuals and families thrive.

Sarah Pemberton
Owner | Director of Operations
With a professional background in finance and Global Business Management, Sarah brings a thoughtful, values-driven approach to leadership at The WOMB Milton along with a deep appreciation for the importance of community during life’s most transformative seasons. After becoming a mother, she felt drawn to work that aligned more closely with her values and her passion for supporting families.
She works primarily behind the scenes, helping to thoughtfully shape the space, systems, and experience at The WOMB Milton.
Outside of the center, Sarah is a proud mama of two boys and a black lab and enjoys travelling, running, hiking, and yoga.

Katie Marriott
Owner | Clinical Director | Occupational Therapist | MScOT, B.H.Sc. (Hons), OT Reg. (Ont.)
With 12 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, I’ve worked in both pediatrics and return-to-work care, with a growing passion for supporting children and families. My current practice focuses on assessing and treating retained primitive reflexes, helping children build the foundation for improved regulation, coordination, and development. My own fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum journey has deepened my commitment to this work and to serving this community in meaningful ways. At home, I’m a proud mom of two little ones and a spirited Australian Shepherd, and I love reading, spending time at the cottage, and teaching Pilates.

Hessa is an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences graduate from the University of Ottawa with a passion for patient-centred care. She enjoys supporting families by creating welcoming, organized, and positive experiences from their very first interaction with The WOMB. With an appreciation for both client care and the systems that support it, Hessa helps connect families with the resources and services they need. She loves being part of a team dedicated to helping people feel seen, supported, and cared for.

With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Sara has had the privilege of supporting children of all ages, including those with special needs and medical fragility. She’s passionate about nurturing their growth across all areas of development. As a mother of four, Sara understands the joys and challenges of parenting and brings that empathy to her work. She’s excited to welcome and support every family who walks through the doors of The WOMB.

Alyssa is a member of The WOMB’s Care Team and is currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics with a minor in Neuroscience at the University of Guelph. With experience as a medical receptionist and over nine years of teaching and mentoring young dancers, she enjoys helping children and families feel supported and confident. Alyssa is passionate about creating welcoming experiences for everyone who visits the clinic. In her spare time, she enjoys paddleboarding and spending time with her Maltipoo, Koda.

Dr. Minal Gandhi
Chiropractor | BA, BSc, DC
Dr. Minal Gandhi discovered her passion for chiropractic care as a teen when it brought relief to her chronic headaches—and inspired her career path. In practice since 2006, she now focuses on family, prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric care. As a mother, she brings personal insight and compassion to her work, supporting patients through pregnancy and recovery. Dr. Minal is dedicated to providing gentle, up-to-date care and is honoured to serve the families at The WOMB.

Dr. Diane Meyer is a respected chiropractor with a passion for supporting mothers and babies through holistic, family-centered care. A mom of four and a Fellow of the International Paediatric Chiropractic Association since 1994, she also holds a Diplomate in Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Meyer is a sought-after speaker and educator, known for her expertise in pre- and postnatal care. She uses a wide range of gentle, evidence-informed techniques to support each family's unique needs.

Anita Arora

Anita is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, educator, and member of CAPPA Canada, dedicated to helping families reach their breastfeeding goals with compassion and support. After transitioning from a business career, she found her calling in lactation care and now teaches at Mohawk College and volunteers with the Halton Breastfeeding Connection and Baby Friendly Initiative. Anita brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her work. She lives in Oakville with her husband and two children and enjoys baking, staying active, and family time.

Diana is a paediatric physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University and a background in Biology and Kinesiology. Since 2011, she has specialized in assessing and treating children from birth to age 18 for a wide range of conditions including Torticollis, Cerebral Palsy, and developmental or neurological concerns. Diana takes a play-based, family-centered approach that empowers parents through hands-on care, education, and home programming. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, reading, and practicing mindfulness and movement to support overall well-being.

Concetta takes a collaborative, biopsychosocial approach to treatment, empowering patients to play an active role in achieving their goals. Cathy’s practice blends gentle osteopathic techniques with her deep knowledge of movement to address pain, trauma, and pediatric concerns. She is known for her compassionate, whole-person care rooted in integrity and sensitivity.

With a background in dance, outdoor education, and counselling, Jennifer brings a well-rounded and compassionate approach to care. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and two young sons.

Rachel is a Registered Massage Therapist with a background in Kinesiology and a special interest in pre and postnatal care. She completed her RMT diploma in 2020, including specialized training and a hospital placement in prenatal massage at Sunnybrook. Rachel uses a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release to support women through all stages of pregnancy. She’s excited to be part of The WOMB team and to continue providing compassionate, evidence-informed care.

Clarissa has experience supporting individuals with pain, injury recovery, stress management, and a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns. Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Nada Hussein is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy from OISE, University of Toronto. She supports adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions—particularly in the context of women’s health, motherhood, and identity. Nada takes a warm, collaborative approach, drawing on CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and EFT to help clients explore their emotions and move toward meaningful change. She is honoured to be part of The WOMB Milton community and to support clients in reconnecting with their strengths.

Ummul is a mother of three boys and five spirit children, and a former marketing executive who turned her personal healing journey into her life’s work. After navigating burnout, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, PTSD, and autoimmune illness, she immersed herself in mind-body practices that supported deep recovery and transformation. Today, she is a Somatic Trauma Therapist and certified mindfulness and resilience educator, integrating trauma-informed, heart-centered approaches into her work. Ummul blends lived experience with professional training to compassionately support others on their path to healing.
